Hardwood Decking - The Natural Choice
Why use Hardwood Decking?
All of our Hardwood Decking timbers are naturally durable and hard wearing. There is no need to apply any form of treatment as the product will weather to a beautiful silver/grey colour. However Decking Oil is available to help maintain the natural colour as much as possible, if required.
Softwood decking is usually tanalised for extra longevity. However the regulations have resulted in the use of much less effective treatment processes, furthermore the treatment only penetrates the timber by a few millimetres and is therefore vulnerable whenever screws have been inserted and as wear and tear causes the deck to split and splinter.
A Hardwood Deck is a job done for life and will outlast any softwood deck.

IPE HARDWOOD DECKING
We believe IPE hardwood decking to be the best decking material available. This is supplied as a clip system which means no fixings are visible when laid.
IPE Hardwood Decking is available in three profiles:
22 x 145mm Reeded
22 x 145mm Smooth
21mm x 145mm Planed smooth with eased edges
(NOT iClip secret fixing)
A 22 x 38mm planed Finishing Edge Profile is also available for the Reeded and Smooth iClip system.
The iClip Kit comprises 150 clips and 150 stainless steel screws with a special coating for hardwood and 1 screw bit. A box should be sufficient for approximately 10 square metres of ipe decking.

MASSARANDUBA HARDWOOD DECKING
ALSO AVAILABLE F.S.C. CERTIFIED
Massaranduba Hardwood Decking is available in one profile:
21 x 145 mm Reeded and grooved (reversible)
90 x 90mm Massaranduba Posts are also available. Planed all round with rounded corners. Bearers are available in hardwood or tanalised softwood.

BANGKIRAI HARDWOOD DECKING
Naturally durable Bangkirai Hardwood Decking. This timber can be left to weather to an attractive silver grey or protected to retain its reddish brown colour.
Bangkirai Hardwood Decking is available in one profile:
21mm x 145mm Planed smooth with eased edges
90 x 90mm Bangkirai Posts are also available - Planed all round with rounded corners. Bearers are available in hardwood or tanalised softwood.
