Policy Statement

Sykes Timber has a strong environmental policy on sustainability, recycling and wastage. European Union Timber Regulations (Now UKTR) introduced in March 2013 prohibit the placing of illegally harvested timber and timber products on the UK market.

Woodland

Sykes Timber has taken the initiative with a number of replanting programmes which to date has involved planting over 25,000 trees, mostly native Broadleaves, on four separate locations comprising mature woodland and new planting.
